I had some of Erin’s yummy spinach black bean lasagna for lunch…then we went to Costco. It was super duper sample day today. We started out with some chocolate cake, then we had BBQ brisket, grape and strawberry soda, chocolate squares, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate milk, breakfast sausage, hot dogs, canned peaches, cranberry-blood orange jelly on bread, dried pears and apples, and I am sure there is more, I just can’t remember it all because my belly is full and I am getting sleepy.

I like to make sure everyone gets a laugh now and then, so here it goes…
The other day Liam went in to the bathroom, but came back out rather quickly. I asked him if he went and he said that his poop wouldn’t come out because it was like a steel trap.
A few days later, both of the boys had to pee at the same time. Instead of finding different bathrooms, they realized that they could both use the same toilet at the same time. Their reactions to their new discovery fit their personalities to a tee.
Colm: That was TOTALLY cool!
Liam: That was gross!
Think of everything you said today and then think about having to repeat everything at least twice. What? is Colm’s new favorite phrase. I don’t know if he can’t hear me, doesn’t understand me or is just trying to drive me bananas, but he IS driving me bananas. I hope it’s just a phase.
Sean was a Top DOG at Liam’s school this week. It is a wonderful program and Liam was absolutely ecstatic that Sean was going to be at his school all day. Dad’s show up at 8:15 and help get kids out the cars at drop-off and their child gets to help, too. Then they get to do the pledge together on the morning news show. After that the dad helps in the library, office, P.E., in the lunchroom, etc. while the child is going about their normal day. Sean also got to eat lunch with Liam and help in Liam’s class for a while. It was a great day for both of them, but Sean came home and promptly fell asleep. He was “dog” tired. 🙂
