I had to laugh to myself this week as I was playing hide and seek with the boys. If you play hide and seek and Colm is hiding, he will hide with you. The problem is that Colm is a heavy breather and can be found very easily. Second, if you are hiding, the dog will follow you making you very easy to find. You can shoo the dog away as much as you want, it won’t work. You can tell Colm to breathe more quietly, that doesn’t work either. So, if you are playing hide and seek at our house, prepare to be found.
Two Reasons Not to Play Hide and Seek at our House
Monday, April 6, 2009
When do kids get good a hide and seek? Mine love to play but are gosh darn awful when it comes to actually hiding. Or looking for their brother / sister without needing a reminder.
we have the same hide and seek issues at our house! the other thing that jp now more than alexander does is hide in the same spot EVERY time. it’s getting hard to act so surprised when i find him!
