There is a little girl in Liam’s class that is from the south and she IS a Southern belle. Her mother is also a southern belle…she is very refined and honestly I feel like she thinks she has sent her daughter to school with a bunch of neadrathals. They are both very sweet, nice, polite, etc., etc. but they are new to our school, state, etc. and I think it is taking some adjusting. Well, today I went to go eat lunch with Liam at school and she gave Liam’s lunch this look that only a little girl could give. I guess his lunch did not meet her standards. First of all, he was eating cottage cheese. She didn’t like the looks of it and her eyes told the whole story. Then she asked him what “those” were, pointing at a bag of baked snap peas. She didn’t like the look of those either. The looks she was giving him and his lunch…oh my goodness!!! I wish I would have had my camera. 🙂 Then I noticed she was eating something rather interesting too. I asked her about it and she told me it was ambrosia salad. I just had to smile to myself. Who brings ambrosia salad to school in their lunchbox??? 🙂
