We try really hard to take our kids to art classes, music classes, plays, music shows, etc., but I was very bewildered when I heard Colm singing what sounded like a song from Rent this evening as he was getting into his jammies. I have never seen Rent and I know Colm has never seen Rent. We don’t own the soundtrack either. When I asked him where he had heard that song it all made sense. The fifth graders at his school had done a Broadway review-type of show and a song from that musical had been a part of their performance. Mystery solved.
