This is his first year doing coach pitch. He did a great job at his first time up to bat.
I am not sure I like how kids get signed up for baseball here. They don’t sign kids up by age or grade, but rather when they started T-ball. Since we did T-ball last year our choices were to have him do T-ball again, which would have been silly since he is definitely ready for something more, or to sign him up to be on a team where most of the kids are at least one year older than him. Most of the kids are first and second graders who did T-ball for the first time last year. So far Colm is holding his own, but we shall see how the rest of the season pans out.
