It’s like they are calling my name. They are so good and there are four boxes of them. If I don’t eat them all in a timely manner they will be stale, so I should eat them before they go bad. Right?

This picture does not do it justice, but the moon was HUGE and full and bright this evening.
At about 7:15 this morning, huge white snowflakes starting falling from the sky and it seemed like as the morning went on the snowflakes continued to get bigger. My 8:00 they looked more like cotton balls than snowflakes. It was absolutely beautiful. In true Oregon fashion, it had all melted by 10:00 though. Boo!!!
All the boys have wanted for over a year is a DS. That’s it…for every holiday and birthday that’s all they have asked for, but they knew they weren’t going to get one because we had made our case too about why they weren’t going to get one. Sean had also told them a LONG time ago that once Colm learned how to read that we would think about it. Well, Colm has been reading pretty well for a while now and they were still asking for one, so…let’s just say they got the best Valentine’s Day presents ever (in their opinion) and they were up and dressed at the crack of dawn today ready to play Pokemon.
I had so much fun at the boys’ Valentine’s Day parties. Luckily they weren’t at the same time so I could go and help out with both of them.
Trying to see who can stack their candy hearts the highest.

Liam’s Valentine “box” for all of his Valentine cards
The boys will each be getting one of these for Valentine’s Day. I put them at their places at the breakfast table, so they’ll see them when they get up in the morning.
Pizza!
Presents!
One of his friends made him this…it was a huge hit!

It was crazy sock day at school…Colm is wearing Halloween socks wrong-side out and Liam is wearing pirate socks. Neither one of those may seem very “crazy”, but they are pretty wacky when you are used to wearing plain old white socks every day.
We are starting to get more and more packages in the mail…somebody’s birthday is coming up very soon….
Liam has made the best friends here. They are the sweetest, nicest most polite group of boys (and not in an Eddie Haskell kind of way). Now don’t get me wrong, they think farting and burping is funny, but they are polite in all the important ways that you would expect from third grade boys. Since violin was cancelled for the day, Liam invited one of his friends over after school.
