I have a feeling this is the last tomato of the season. There are still a LOT of green ones on the vine, but it’s too cold and rainy now for them to turn red. I went to the garden today and picked two pumpkins and this one lonely tomato.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE book fair…it’s so much fun and the kids love being able to shop for new books right there at school.

This was our book club selection for this past month. We met tonight to chat about it and it led to a great discussion about how everyone had met their husbands. I think part of the reason the discussion was so interesting was because there is a large age range in my book club and everyone is from somewhere else. So many interesting stories…some were love at first sight, some married their co-workers, one gal met her husband in the children’s section of a book store, one gal married a man who was dating a friend of hers first and then of course everyone loves the story of how Sean and I met. 🙂

Doesn’t this seem like a cool place? Uh huh, we thought it would be too. We thought it would be like a consignment shop for Legos. NOT! It’s more like a place to go if you have money to burn and you’re looking for a minifigure or some other Lego something that they don’t make anymore. For example, one mini figure could set you back $20. Needless to say, we aren’t going to be spending a lot of time there.
