Doesn’t this seem like a cool place? Uh huh, we thought it would be too. We thought it would be like a consignment shop for Legos. NOT! It’s more like a place to go if you have money to burn and you’re looking for a minifigure or some other Lego something that they don’t make anymore. For example, one mini figure could set you back $20. Needless to say, we aren’t going to be spending a lot of time there.

Liam really doesn’t like sparring. It’s violent and it involves getting hit and getting really sweaty because he’s got all of that protective gear on, but if you’re going to be a black belt you have to know how to spar. He has sparred before, but it’s been a while. Black belt testing is coming up soon though, so he is back at sparring class, at least for a while.
We grew a lot of pumpkins this season and I wasn’t quite sure what to do with them all until I came up with the idea of selling them. I proposed the idea to the boys and they quickly agreed when I told them they could keep all of the money. They made the sign, loaded up the pumpkins and off we went. They sold 13 of our 16 pumpkins today and will try and sell the rest that are still growing on the vine maybe next weekend.
Colm had one soccer game this weekend. The team won and Colm scored a couple of goals. He will tell you he scored three. I think it was closer to two. Liam had a soccer tourney this weekend. They won the first game, lost the second by one goal and won the third game by five goals. I think they got second place in the tourney, maybe third. We are still waiting to hear.
