I had a great lunch date today with the boys. I surprised them with lunch at Pizzicato…not a big deal, but it’s a place we don’t usually go and Colm said he was in the mood for pizza and they also happen to have a meatball sandwich that Liam loves. Perfect lunch with my two favorite kids. 🙂

We took the boys to go see the stage version of The Wizard of Oz. It was so well done and it took everything I had not to sing along and say half of the lines along with the actors.

Yes, it was as crowded as it looks.

We went to visit the Washington County Museum today and Colm took this quilting project very seriously. He ran out of thread and was not happy that he couldn’t have some more and then asked if he could have a sewing machine for his birthday.

Sean got a Soda Stream for Christmas. He likes to drink mineral water, but that means we go through a lot of glass bottles. This little gadget will hopefully solve that problem, it also happens to be fun.

The boys made these votives out of aluminum foil, canning jars and votive candles. It says “JOY” in case you can’t tell.

The boys got these games tonight. Beat the Parents was a definite favorite.

I used to make gingerbread houses with my classes and Colm has been asking to make a gingerbread house so I ordered these on-line. I bought a kit like this once for my nieces and was told that it was not a pleasant experience, so we shall see what tomorrow brings when we break these open.

The boys had so much fun today. We went to an indoor water park that had a wave pool, at least four REALLY tall waterslides, an indoor water basketball court and a splash zone. We had so much fun that Colm fell asleep on the way home and that RARELY happens.
