This was Colm’s homework over the weekend. I must say it was pretty cool to see how the shadow moved throughout the day. We also totally lucked out with the sun this weekend. I’m not sure how he was supposed to do this project if we’d had the weather we are usually having at this time of year.

This is the jacket that Liam is currently wearing. It has holes in the arm, at the wrist, at the shoulders in one of the pockets. It looks AWFUL!!! That said, he loves this jacket. It is warm and cozy and it even has a name. He did agree to getting a new one, but the company that made this one doesn’t have that color and size anymore. I found a similar one at Land’s End and it’s on the way. It can’t get here soon enough.
There are many new challenges in dealing with Colm’s arm…trying to find shirts that will fit over the cast, finding a winter coat that will fit over the cast, getting dressed and keeping clean. The cast can’t get wet, but he’s a 7-year old boy and he get DIRTY!!! In an effort to keep his left hand relatively clean, I bought some baby wipes. It seems to be working so far.
You can’t see Liam, but he’s way over on the left. He and the other upper level violin students are practicing “Carol of the Bells” for their winter concert.
