It would be SO easy to toss all of the crap we don’t want to move into the trash. I refuse to fill up the landfill with all of our junk. So, our recycling bin runneth over. It’s amazing how much you can recycle. It is also amazing how much stuff your friends and neighbors will come and get off of your porch when you post it on Facebook. We got rid of thirty-plus plastic bins that way. I also gave away a lots of misc. baby stuff to friends. The amount of stuff that got donated to Catholic Charities and The Salvation Army is amazingly huge. Then there is the stuff that the 1-800 Junk guys came to get. Stuff that we either can’t donate, can’t recycle or don’t have the time to mess with. Did we toss stuff in the landfill this week? You bet we did, but we also kept an amazing amount of stuff out of the landfill.
