I took our school’s OBOB winners to regionals today. It was a long day and they battled six times, but it was all worth it in the end. They made it to state!
Part of getting ready for belt testing involves writing some goals on the board they are going to break. Clearly, Colm likes to keep things interesting by making his colorful. 🙂
Liam got braces today. He is handling it like a champ. I love his new smile! 😉 He got blue and red bands for KU and has a whole slew of new things next to his bathroom sink to help him keep his braces clean.
The boys and I went to OMSI for the day since they didn’t have school. They have a new Mythbusters exhibit which was cool. I even got to go up on stage and participate in a Mythbusters demonstration. The boys thought it was cool that I was chosen to go up on stage.
Butch is our oldest family member. He is about 112 years old in cat years. His age is showing, but he still has a lot of energy, is still a little cranky at times and still loves to snuggle up on the couch.
Liam’s class has been studying colonial America. As part of that study they made cornhusk dolls. Well, Liam’s turned into a headless guy with a sword. Interesting.
