I had all kinds of culinary goals before I left, but I must admit I didn’t make it to half of the places I would have liked to have visited. I DID, however, make it to Dean and Deluca. LOVE that place.

My mom and I used to go to Taco Via all the time. We would go shop at Metro North Mall and then stop in at Taco Via for lunch. I always got a taco dog and a cheese tostada. I decided to go one more time before heading out of town even though I probably haven’t had Taco Via since I was in high school…it was just as I remembered.

I have a neighbor who has a house like ours call me and ask me what we are selling our house for. They are planning on selling their house in the spring and she wanted to make sure that we are selling our house close to the same amount they are planning on selling their house for. I was a bit taken aback especially since I really don’t know her that well. Sean thought it was pretty rude as well. Is it rude though? All anyone has to do is look on-line. Right? She was just skipping that step and going straight to the source. I still think it was a little forward, but when every bit of information is on-line anyways…

Sean’s parents were looking for a Wave Runner for their lake house. Colm was more than happy to show them how one works at the Boat Show.

Lord have mercy, these boys had a lot of energy. They played laser tag, bowled, ate pizza and cake and opened presents. They had a good time and God bless the moms who stayed and helped me keep these kids under some semblance of control…rowdy little bunch of rapscallions. 🙂

Sean and I decided to spend our last night out in Kansas City at Aixois. Not only is it a great place to eat, I am currently reading a book about Julia Child and I had a hankering for French food after reading about it all day.

We had the nicest couple pack up our house-Jim and Carol. They are also the same people who are driving our things to our new house. Jim and Carol along with three other guys also loaded up the truck.
