If you are at our house on Sunday for dinner, be prepared to eat fish…probably salmon.

Since we finally got all of our bikes tuned, air in the tires, etc. and the weather was cooperating, we were ready to take a family bike ride. It was a bit too hilly for our youngest rider (his bike doesn’t have gears) but everyone did a great job.

Our worm farm is complete! It has shredded newspaper, sand, dirt, carrots (for food) and worms, of course. I must say it is pretty cool.

Our super awesome artist in residence is getting ready to wrap up her time at our school. This is what the kindy through second graders did. This is about 4ft x 5 ft. There are 11 of them and they will hang from the ceiling in the school’s main hallway. They are GORGEOUS!

Each of the first grade classrooms has their own garden. Colm’s classroom is growing radishes. Some of the other classrooms are growing herbs, sunflowers, carrots and marigolds.

These are better when you can get them straight from the shop, but getting them from the grocery store is good enough in a pinch.
