The boys have been begging to go to the batting cages for over a month now. We finally had time today and Sean found one that was pretty close and (bonus!) it was inside. It wasn’t too busy or expensive and the boys really liked it. You can choose from slow, medium or fast pitch and you get 15 pitches for a little under two dollars.

The boys haven’t helped me cook in quite a while, so I was surprised when they asked if they could help me make the rhubarb crumble recipe I was trying out. I’m not going to turn good help away, so I put them to work.

Ophelia…we got Ophie when we were first married and thought Butch needed a companion.
Butch…the oldest of our pets. He is about 12 years old.
Diarmaid…he sheds everywhere, but he is a very good dog.
