The boys went to The Nelson for art camp for a few hours each day last week. Colm’s class was called All about Animals and Liam’s was called Cats and Dogs. Each day they went into the galleries and looked at pieces of art that reflected what they were going to learn about and create that day. Liam REALLY liked the whole experience. Colm was a little miffed there wasn’t a snacktime.
Ancient Egyptian…they had learned that day about the role cats played in Ancient Egypt. He loves this hat and was so proud of it. He was totally bummed that he couldn’t fit in the car with it still on his head. 🙂
This was from Africa day. They had gone into the galleries and looked at how many of the masks and such from Africa resembled animals.
